Wonderful place to stay. Safe, neat and clean.

Lush gardens with a lot of peaceful corners to sit and relax. A lot of different bird species, antelope that you can see from the garden and other small animals like squirrels.

Marnice, the hostess, has the kindest and caring soul.

What a wonderful stay at Bou Bou Bed & Breakfast.

Set in the most beautiful, lush garden, this charming four-bedroom B&B is the perfect place to relax and unwind. The garden is absolutely alive with birdlife, and for anyone who appreciates nature and birds, it really is a special little haven.

What also stood out for us was the genuine effort that goes into sustainability. Bou Bou has a thoughtful sustainability programme focused on reducing water and electricity consumption, without taking anything away from the comfort of the guest experience. It is lovely to stay somewhere where care for the environment is clearly part of how the property is run.

But what truly makes Bou Bou special are the people. Marnice, Henry and Dorothy are incredibly warm, friendly and accommodating. Nothing feels like too much trouble, and their hospitality makes you feel genuinely welcome rather than simply another guest.

Beautiful surroundings, excellent service, abundant birdlife and hosts who truly care about what they do. We can highly recommend Bou Bou Bed & Breakfast to anyone looking for a peaceful, relaxed and memorable stay.

We hadden enkele dagen een heerlijk verblijf bij Boubou B&B, aan het eind van een lange rondreis door noordoostelijk Zuid Afrika. Boubou is een klein paradijsje in het groen met veel persoonlijke aandacht van de eigenaren. Een echt ‘home away from home’! Naast een uitstekend ontbijt verzorgt de eigenaresse op verzoek ook heerlijke diners tegen billijke prijzen. Zo hoef je ‘s-avonds in het donker niet meer op pad. Currently rated 4.9 and definitely worth every decimal of it. In fact I cant find any reason not to give it a 5/5.

The place is a spotless gem in the bush. From the bird lookout to the short hiking routes and gardens. The rooms, beds, wi-fi, back up power, the home cooked/barbeque wholesome dinner, breakfast and lunch packs and the friendliness of the owners and staff.

Safe, quiet and away form the city lights. Seeing impala and other antelope in the area and hearing the call of a distant jackal at night just adds that little to make you realise that you are in nature.

Whether you come to bird watch, overnight to Pilanesburg or for work in the Platinum mining companies. It is one of the best, if not the best, option you have in the Rustenburg area. At a similar price point than the main local hotels it is a winner

The short gravel road from the R52 might not be ideal for your sportscar but definitely doable for a normal car. Away from town but who needs it if everything you need is right here. Well located for anything to the west and north of Rustenburg.
