Founded in 2006 and rebranded in 2020 under the leadership of Mrs Joe Gadinabokao, Mookodi Survey Solutions is one of South Africa’s first Black-owned and women-led land surveying companies. We are proud to be among the most versatile and inclusive service providers in the industry, offering high-quality, cost-effective surveying solutions across the construction, mining, and civil engineering sectors.
Our legacy began with Mr Zuma, who identified a critical need for independent, dispute-resolving survey services. What started as a response to industry challenges has evolved into a dynamic, forward-thinking business, committed to innovation, transformation, and excellence.
At Mookodi, we use the latest surveying technologies and partner with leading international suppliers, including Sanding Technologies, to bring cutting-edge tools and equipment to our clients. This also enables us to support smaller BEE-aligned businesses with affordable access to advanced resources, fostering sustainable industry growth.
Our team of highly qualified surveyors includes both seasoned experts and emerging professionals, with a focus on empowering women and youth. Together, we deliver tailored services that are accurate, reliable, and responsive to the unique demands of each project.

Our Business Vision and Mission
We are committed to empowering the next generation, especially women, through targeted educational initiatives and mentorship, actively shaping a more inclusive and skilled surveying workforce in South Africa.
Our Vision
After facing the challenges of recent years, my perspective on life and leadership has shifted. I now truly believe that after every storm, a rainbow appears, and Mookodi, meaning “the Rainbow”, reflects this belief in both name and purpose.
As one of the first Black woman-owned surveying companies in South Africa, my mission with Mookodi Survey Solutions is to deliver exceptional, cost-effective services without compromising on quality or integrity.
I believe the survey industry should never be limited by gender or background. It is a space for all, and we must actively create opportunities for young women, aspiring professionals, and future leaders from all walks of life. Our diversity is our strength, and our work is Proudly South African.
The future belongs to the youth, and it is our responsibility to guide, educate, and empower them. In true African spirit: “It takes a village to raise a child.” At Mookodi, we are building that village, one project, one partnership, and one empowered mind at a time.
